The quiz appears on your storefront through a theme app block. There is no code to write, and removing the block removes the quiz. The storefront only loads published quizzes, so publish first.
- Open the quiz from Quizzes and click Publish quiz.
- Go to Home. In Your quiz setup, click Add the quiz block to your theme. (After publishing, the editor offers the same step as Add the quiz to your theme.)
- Your theme editor opens on the home page with the Product quiz block already added at the bottom, in an Apps section. Drag it higher in the left panel if you want it near the top.
- Click Save at the top right of the theme editor. Until you save, shoppers cannot see the quiz.
- Open your storefront (Visit your storefront) to see it.
The setup checklist on Home marks the block as live after the first real shopper view. Views from bots, results restored from a link, previews and the theme editor's design mode are not counted.
Put it on a different page
Prefer another page? In the theme editor, switch to any page, click Add section → Apps → Product quiz.
Choose which quiz the block shows
- Leave Quiz empty and the block shows your default published quiz: the one it showed before, while that quiz is still published, otherwise the most recently updated published quiz.
- With several published quizzes, pick one explicitly: select the quiz you want in the Quiz setting.
Style the block in the theme editor
Select the Product quiz block to change its settings:
- Heading, Show the subheading and Subheading
- Show a start screen before the first question and Start button label
- Look: Match my theme uses your theme's buttons and headings, or choose one of five styled looks
- Layout (Banner, Card or Full width), Text alignment, Top padding, Bottom padding and Corner radius
- Accent color and Background color. Leave empty to use your theme's button color. A color that wouldn't be readable on your background is replaced with a readable one.
- Show progress bar during the quiz
- Result cards: Show answer tags on result cards, Show answer match count, Show price on result cards, Primary action on result cards (Add to cart or View product) and Products shown at first. Show more picks reveals another set of this size, up to 24 products.
- Remember completed results: Show the last results again in this browser for 30 days. Shoppers can start over.
