The popup shows your quiz in an overlay on any page of your store, opened from a floating button, automatically, or both. It is an app embed, so it needs no placement on a page.
- Publish the quiz (Publish quiz).
- Click Show as a popup. You find it in Your quiz setup on Home, and on the Status card of a published quiz.
- The theme editor opens with the Quiz popup app embed switched on. Adjust its settings, then click Save. The popup does not appear until you save.
Popup settings
- Quiz: leave it empty for your default published quiz, or choose one
- Show floating launcher, Launcher label (default "Find your match") and Launcher position (Bottom right or Bottom left)
- Automatically open: Off (the default, so only the button opens it), After a delay, After scrolling or On exit intent (desktop)
- Open after (1 to 60 seconds, default 10) and Scroll depth (10 to 100 percent, default 50) set the delay and scroll triggers
- Automatic opening frequency: Once per session (the default), Once every N days or Every page view. Days between openings runs from 1 to 30, default 7
- Show on pages: All pages (the default), Home only, Product pages or Collection pages
- The same look, heading, start screen and result-card settings as the quiz block, described in Add the quiz to your store
How it behaves
- An automatic opening happens at most once per page.
- The floating button hides while a theme overlay or the cart drawer is open.
- Adding a product to the cart closes the popup. Reopening it shows the same results again.
