Importing is free on every plan and uses no AI credit. Quinn creates a new, editable draft. It does not replace your existing quiz or publish anything. Keep your RevenueHunt quiz running until you have checked and published your Quinn draft.
- In RevenueHunt, open your quiz, then Quiz Settings, Quiz migration and Copy quiz code. Copy the quiz definition, not the responses CSV.
- In Quinn, open Quizzes, choose Import quiz, then Switch from RevenueHunt.
- Paste the code and choose Review quiz. You can also upload the original JSON file through the ordinary file import. The limit is 2 MB, 100 questions, 1,000 answers and 10,000 recommendation rules.
- Alternatively, choose Find quizzes in Shopify Files. Allow optional Files access when Shopify asks, then choose the quiz file to review. This searches this store's first 50 matching quiz files; if your quiz is missing or access is declined, paste its code instead.
- Read the differences and catalog references before importing. Same-store product and collection IDs are checked directly. Missing, deleted or other-store references remain listed for attention. Explicit image URLs are retained as snapshots and must stay available at their original host.
- Choose Import as a new draft, then Open draft. Check every question, image and recommendation, rebuild anything listed in the review, and preview the shopper journey before publishing.
What carries over
- Single-choice, multiple-choice, picture-choice and single-select dropdown answers, optional state, image descriptions, positive answer weights and supported product or collection votes and exclusions.
- Shopify Collection IDs can represent ordinary collections or RevenueHunt groups. Only actual Shopify IDs are retained. Opaque tag, vendor or variant-group identifiers cannot be guessed and appear in the differences list.
- Forward default destinations to another imported question or the single result screen. Conditional jump and skip rule formats are not verified by the captured export; they are listed for rebuilding instead of silently changing their meaning.
- The single result page heading, shared Next and Results button text, supported common button copy, and the button and background colours in Quinn's Look. Result-page text is also kept in the review so you can copy it while rebuilding.
What needs review or rebuilding
Quinn recommends whole products. When an exact variant resolves in this store, its parent product is imported and the broader rule is listed for review. Missing variants and opaque variant groups are listed without an invented replacement. Check exclusions carefully because excluding a parent product affects every variant.
Multiple result pages and conditional sections need rebuilding. Quinn uses one recommendation screen; importing their names as outcomes would not preserve RevenueHunt's routing. Slot counts, minimum votes, fixed recommendations, slot-specific filters and cart preferences use Quinn's defaults. The review says so even when all answer mappings matched.
Unsupported inputs such as sliders and scales, extra input blocks on the same question, special choice behavior, selection limits and per-question button differences need review. Custom CSS, JavaScript and custom HTML blocks are discarded. Rich text becomes plain text. Connections, tracking, notifications, customer tags, consent and source credentials are not copied. Configure those separately in Quinn. No source code executes during import.
Lantern and other quiz apps
Lantern's basic spreadsheet columns Question, Type, Answer, Products and Weight can be imported as CSV, in any order. Supported types are single, multiple and dropdown. Product handles, unique SKUs and HTTPS product URLs are accepted, separated by |. Conflicting handle and SKU matches remain unresolved. Nonempty advanced columns and dropdown multiple are rejected; use Quinn's CSV template to rebuild those settings. Images, branching and dynamic content are not part of this route.
For another quiz app, start with a Quinn template or ask Quinn to build a draft from your description. An app without a supported definition export cannot be imported directly. Shopper responses and leads are never imported as quiz content.
